Equity, Balance and Resolve
Step by step the need is met,~~Raj~~
one simply has to take each one,
acknowledge what that step reveals,
and take the next,
and then the next,
until the journey’s done.
AND SO WE SHARE that contributions amounting to $1,198.02 were received on Friday, leaving a shortfall of $2,217.95. Observing where things stood at that step of the journey, I guided Paul and Susan to take $1,300 from their Social Security income, add it to everyone’s contributions, and put it together with what was available in the Foundation’s bank account. As a result of that rearrangement of funds, the property tax was able to be paid on Friday, the last day of May, before the County Treasurer’s office closed, avoiding further penalties for late payment.
Thank you to each of you who joined us with your support!
Today, at this step of the journey—and as the result of the rearrangement of funds—the need has reconfigured. But Persistence of Vision continues to point the way to equity, balance and resolve by not losing sight of Needs Met—no matter how they morph in the process of Love’s meeting them. And so. . .
. . . it is now the 1st of June, with first-of-the-month expenses, and $36.49 left in the Foundation’s bank account. The $1,300 provided by Paul and Susan need to be reimbursed promptly since the Foundation has been unable to issue Paul’s last two paychecks and another will be due on Monday, which means that the needs are immediate.
Everyone is invited once again to participate in the return of equity, balance and resolve, joining us in that which restores Brotherhood through consistent, ongoing acts of Brotherly love.
Thank you, again.
