A Palpable Experience of Gratitude

A Palpable Experience
of Gratitude

———-oOo———-

Dear friends,

As is true with everyone, the reduction of stress causes a palpable experience of gratitude which, when expressed, is far more than a dutiful or mannerly “thank you.” It is what Paul and Susan deeply feel as I express gratitude to everyone for your recent and ongoing support of our doing everything on the basis of Gift.

October and November were demanding months which were made less stressful by everyone’s participating in the meeting of the needs, and  we now look forward to resuming regular weekly Study Groups this weekend, together with the Thoughts for the Day, and other things to come.

At the same time, I must share that today there is a balance of only $30.86 in the Foundation’s bank account, with expenses in the amount of $4,839.65 due in six days on the 20th, and then further obligations amounting to $2,290 due by the end of the month.

This is not an impossible or overwhelming need. The simple fact is that by the end of the day today, this post will have been read over 500 times from points all around your globe, and if each reader were to contribute $15, it would amount to $7,500—enough to meet the need for the rest of the month, with some to spare. And tomorrow, others will read this post for the first time as well. And each day it continues.

Of course, there are those who cannot do that right now, while others can do more . . . and tomorrow the opposite may be true. That’s the beauty of Gift—Brotherhood is the common denominator, not buying power!

It really doesn’t take much to keep the Gift a gift.

Value recognized and shared is the reason for communication—not the compulsive sharing of that which is shocking, immoral, outrageous, demoralizing. The gifting of Value felt gives voice to the Voice for Truth, extends it, amplifies it, soothes the savage breast, diminishes the effect of the uninhibited broadcast of the voice for fear.

This is what you are invited to participate in, just as it is what Paul and Susan are asked to participate in, and just as it is what I am charged with participating in until we’re all back Home.

I thank you for the part you play!

My attempts to communicate – posting here, email, mail – have been frustrated. One part seems to be a spam filtering by WordPress. My post from 11/16 still says “awaiting moderation” (as others), and this is another communication attempt by using a different email to post. Here’s the copy from 11/16:
I wonder if providing an access to the “ongoing” need would be helpful. The uncertainty of what donations might be being made when, expecially when recurring shortfalls are presented, doesn’t lend itself to confindence. I am new to this site, and am blessed with 2 other communities (one of which is also online). They have very different styles of income, but both integrate it meaningfully with their teaching. Here, when I made an earlier donation, I tried using the donation email address after for a question and the email bounced. That is just a personal example of not feeling the integration. But a website access to the ongoing balance due, and maybe specifics as are detailed in these updates, could be a way to keep the need on the table. I was thinking it could only help, not precluding this style of sending updates too, should the balances still not be met (but hopefully a lot smaller!)
(this I normally would have emailed, but my earlier attempts bounced many times, and the snail mail I used once to you I have even less confidence in)

    Dear Raj, Paul and Susan,

In April, 1994 I attended a week-long Raj Gathering in Vermont. I was unemployed, barely a cent to my name, and I only managed to attend and return from the gathering on a wing and a prayer. That week was and still is the most moving in my 63 years of this lifetime’s experience … I believe it gave me a tiny glimpse through the veil to an actual experience of Diving Love!!!

Through the many, many expressions of love Raj and Paul and Susan have extended to me over these last 25 years through their countless sharings of Raj, and unceasing demonstration of what being on the leading edge of fulfillment looks like, I am eternally grateful!!!

I was the clear recipient of their love during that week in 1994, with little financial means to express it. Since then and until today, I do have the financial means to provide my support every month, and I do so most gratefully.

Thank you Raj, Paul and Susan!!!

    Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

    All My Love,
    Larry Kirby
