Keeping the Givers Alive

Keeping the
Givers Alive

  ————-oOo————

Dear friends,

Sometimes it becomes necessary to be reminded of the relevance of spirituality—of how it relates to and fits in with everyday life. Sometimes it becomes necessary to realize that there is such a relationship in order for there to be a place where spirituality actually makes a difference!

“Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free!”

Where? Where will the freedom be experienced? In your intellect, where the pain wasn’t hurting you in the first place? Or in your hand, your foot, your kidney . . . where it was? If your brother is starving, will you feed him with platitudes, or principles, or truths . . . or will you give him food, and then, when he has regained strength, teach him with principles and truths how to plant a garden and never be without food again? If your sister is freezing, will you tell her there is no matter, that the body is illusion and therefore her convulsive shivering is not real, or will you provide a cloak or a blanket and something warm to drink, and hold her hands and massage them to increase circulation, and therefore warmth?

Love doesn’t overlook simple comfort. It provides it, since when there is comfort, when there is peace, the shift of perception called a miracle can occur. And even more importantly, the confirmation of that brother’s divinity and worth is made by means of the compassionate attention given before the miracle has occurred.

Without groundedness in what truly means something, humanly speaking, there is nothing upon which to reveal the experience of immortality right where the perception of mortality had held sway.

A week ago or so, I shared something under the title, “Keeping the Gift Alive,” and today I am reminding everyone that this automatically involves keeping the givers of the Gift alive. In other words, the element of humanity involved in making this work available around the globe as a Gift is the element of humanity which also embraces Paul and Susan, meeting their needs as they devote their lives to this work. Our spirituality must remain grounded enough, practical enough to remember them and be involved in meeting their needs . . . and at this time it is not happening.

What this means is that the Foundation has been unable to provide paychecks to Paul for the last three months, and Paul is holding five prior paychecks which he can only cash when there are sufficient funds to cover them. In itself, this has been inconvenient and awkward, but it has become stressful recently as credit card purchases for simple basics such as groceries have been declined and a good credit history is in jeopardy.

The stress and frustration have made it hard for him to hear me, and as a result there have been no recent Study Groups, a communication regarding terrorism which was begun on November 15th is unfinished, and this letter has taken over six hours for him to hear and it is now 5:42 a.m.

The continued making of the Gift is not in question. That it will always be a gift is not in question. Paul and Susan will persist in listening for my voice and sharing what I have to say. That is not in question. On these points everyone can relax. But when I extended the invitation for support a week and a half ago, and forty-four contributions were very gratefully received (as you can imagine), the stress was not relieved because the need was not met. The call for peace required even stronger joining in the holy instant as daily trips to the post office and bank—if there was a check there—made it difficult to listen, hear and share with everyone.

Paul and Susan are as human as anyone else, and the meeting of the human need is the groundwork activity which renders true spirituality relevant. Their wants are minimal. They are not disturbed at having no investments, no portfolio, no savings, no possessions to speak of. But they do want to be able to make the Gift more fully than they have been able to. And I am here to witness for them, as I witness for everyone in everything I do. And I ask you to witness for them, too, in supporting the Gift to all . . . and to do it more consciously.

Thank you again to everyone who participates in the Gift, and thank you to those who will look again, not having realized the significance their participation would have.

  1. I’m pledging $50/month. It’s about the price of one decent dinner out and I have gained so much from Raj, Paul and Susan’s contributions. I’m still watching your videos on YouTube and they are priceless! Thank you!!

  2. Jo says:

It’s outrageous that this beloved brother Paul of ours should be in this position! Seriously people, we are abandoning our brother and not meeting his need! That’s a shameful act. Don’t misunderstand me. I’ve done the forgiveness work with this one by taking everything I think I’m seeing in my brother Paul and joining with the Father, Jesus and my Holy
Spirit Self and handing it over, but I make damm sure that I send the money and lots of it after if I can! Paul Tuttle should be able to sit back, relax, and have nothing to worry about, and just bring through this amazing Truth from Raj, our brother.
As Guillermo says in the previous reply, if 1000 people paid $10 a month that’s $10.000! How about 500 people paying $20 a month. Does anyone know how many people listen to and read this material. There must surely be at least 500 round the world! Is there some way of getting word out to people by email perhaps to ask each one to set up a monthly payment of $10 $20 $30 or whatever they can afford. Come on somebody do something, get this thing moving. I mean I’ve certainly been moved. I was fast asleep and then woke up and found myself unable to ignore this rather forceful prompting to put this reply here! And it’s 3.45am!!! And this is well out of my comfort zone I can tell you. Join me please.
    Jo
