Brass Tacks

Yesterday I shared:

“You are needed once again
and thanked before-hand for the part you play
in giving your support and
keeping clear not just the content,
but the spirit of the Gift we make.”

Also, as I have shared before, the contributions made in support of the Gift we make are always used to meet the most basic of needs.  As you may have noticed, it’s always a matter of meeting past-due or current month’s expenses, and the funds present to meet them is always extremely low, as is the case now ($870.00).

As usual, most of the expenses fall due by the 20th of the month and amount to approximately $5,000.  However, this month it is $7,000 because there are more than the usual past-due amounts which need to be brought current — including three paychecks to Paul.

These are a few of the “brass tacks” — the “details” of the miracle at hand.  For everyone, in all instances, the miracle is the translation of “needs” into “needs met,” no matter what the brass tacks are, and we — you and I — are engaged in “covering our brothers’ backs” by means of the Gift we give and being the miracle.

Thank you.
